We’ve Lost Our Ability To Feel Emotions
Do you ever feel like we’ve traded our humanity for a job title? In our relentless chase for success, productivity, and wealth, I think we’ve forgotten our most fundamental job: simply being human.

In this video, I explore how this happened, why our values have shifted so dramatically since the 1960s, and most importantly, how we can reclaim our authentic selves. We’ll talk about the “masks” we wear at work, how we’re raising our kids to be high-achievers instead of happy people, and the illusion that more money is the direct path to happiness.

This isn’t a call to abandon progress or technology. Instead, it’s an invitation to ask why. Why do we want success? What are we hoping to achieve with it? I believe that when our methods (the “how”) don’t align with our purpose (the “why”), we end up feeling empty, disconnected, and like we don’t deserve the very happiness we’re working so hard for.

The good news? Being human is the easiest job in the world. It doesn’t require a degree or a special skill set. It just requires presence, curiosity, and the courage to connect. I’ll share some simple, practical ways to bring more humanity into your daily interactions—at work, at home, and with yourself.

So, what are your thoughts? At what crossroads are you in your life right now? Share your story in the comments below. I’d love to hear what’s happening in your world.

Thank you for watching.

In this video, we discuss:

The conflict between being a “good worker” and being a human being.
How societal values have shifted towards money and status.
The difference between genuine play and passive entertainment.
Aligning your “how” (your actions) with your “why” (your life philosophy).
Practical tips for connecting with others on a human level.
The power of asking “And then what happened?”
