Hi all!
Happy to say my first draft of the cognitive function test is now ready for beta-testing. What does that mean? Well, the test will measure you across 16 unique distinct thought patterns. They have to do with developed preferences and how we make decisions and process information. My goal is to help you understand your thoughts better so you can make smarter decisions & have a more objective understanding of the world around you.
How the test works
The test is a likert test like most of my tests – i still find likert tests the easiest and most consistent to build. But I’m playing with doing some drag & drop or multiple choice scenario tests in the future. It’s just hard to account for and provide an answer that fits every person. But I completely see the fun and value in it!
What’s new is that you after you’ve taken a personality test, you can rate your scores yourself and adjust them if you think you got the wrong answer & see which questions contributed to your results. If you think a question is wrong or should be phrased differently, you can always leave feedback in an e-mail or comment!
On top of that, you can share your results with friends and family and have them rate you. Do they agree with your self-perception or do they see you differently? Why?

Heading to Italy, but first… Recording!
Next week, I’m heading to Lake Garda, Italy, it’s going to be beautiful and a nice two week vacation. It’s been way too much computers for me lately but I aim to make time for writing and creativity. I’m definitely bringing my pen and paper and plenty of books to read!
But before I leave, I’m planning to record some cool new videos. I’m working on a new series and project on neuroticism and emotional stability to help people feel calmer and improve theiremotional health. What habits contribute to your emotional well-being the most?
How are you spending the summer?
Best,
Erik Thor
