Understand the thoughts that occupy your mind

You are not your thoughts. Thoughts appear in your consciousness. But what kind of thoughts do you dwell on? Carl Jung’s cognitive functions can help you understand your thinking patterns. By understanding your thoughts, you can change the way you think about life, work, and people.

How I made this test

My name is Erik Thor, and my goal is to build the world’s most accurate personality tests. Because personality tests are designed to be general, abstract, and applicable to many people, they’re often vague and rely on the Forer Effect. They feel relatable and fun, but they don’t add much value to your life. A good test should be precise. Results should give useful, accurate insights into your own life. That’s why I believe it’s so important to bring personality psychology into practical, real-life scenarios.

My Cognitive Function tests are unique

1

16 functions instead of 8 for greater nuance and depth

My system with 16 instead of 8 cognitive functions show the difference between left brained (judging) and right-brained (perceiving) thought patterns.

2

I focus on all the functions, not just your strongest ones

My goal is to give you an understanding of how you relate to all functions. Not just your dominant ones.

3

I believe everyone has a unique function development

I don’t work with traditional hierarchies. I believe you have a unique way of thinking.
