The Problem With The 16 Personalities
Have you ever taken a personality test? INFJ, ESTP, Dominant, Influential… we’ve all been there, right? It can feel like you’re finally getting a key to understanding yourself. And hey, I think that’s a great starting point for self-exploration.

But what happens when that simple label becomes the rulebook for your entire life? When you start making decisions about your career, your relationships, and who you are based on a one-dimensional description of a three-dimensional (or maybe even four-dimensional) person? That’s where we get into trouble.

In this video, I talk about why I believe personality can’t be confined to a single type. I’ve been called an ENTP, an INFJ, an ESFJ, and you know what? They all capture a little piece, but none of them capture the whole story. The truth is, you’re not a static “what,” you’re a dynamic “how.” You are like water – shapeless, formless, and able to fit into any container.

We’ll explore:

The problem with seeing personality descriptions as the “essence” of who you are.
How the power of suggestion can actually make you less authentic by trying to fit into a box.
Why saying “I don’t know my personality type” might be the most self-aware thing you can say.
The difference between a consistent personality and an authentic one.
The real goal isn’t to find a label that fits, but to live a life that feels right to you, a life where you show up honestly and authentically in every moment, whether you’re at work, with family, or by yourself. It’s about living by your own definition of success.

So, let me ask you: Do you feel like you are living authentically? When you go to work, do you feel like you’re showing up as your true self?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! I’m really curious to hear how you feel about this.
